In the past ten years, I've performed at countless wedding ceremonies and the experience never ceases to be a joy. I think that's because music expresses so well everything that the wedding ceremony is about. Music exemplifies love in a way that words sometimes fail to do.
Ceremony Music
Let me help you create the perfect playlist for your wedding ceremony; from the processional to the recessional. I specialize in custom arrangements of songs that have a special meaning for a couple. I am always happy to give advice on musical selections and walk you through typical parts of the wedding ceremony that feature music accompaniment.
Cocktail Hour
Live music as your guests are mingling before the reception is a great way to add a touch of pomp to your event. I've played solo guitar (jazz and classical) at formal weddings during cocktail hour. For bigger weddings, a jazz duo or trio will make the atmosphere even more lively. For a more rustic flair, a bluegrass duo, trio or quartet can enhance the down-home vibe you are going for.
Reception
I'm now working with Blue Water Kings as a lead vocalist and guitarist. Performing with some of the top musicians in Chicago, we have the capability of putting together a band as big as thirteen pieces (depending on client budget).
